Wednesday ScarfDay: The Fishnet Scarf!

We have decided that Wednesday is the best day of the week to look for and present you with the best types of scarves and pashmina shawls for all of you gorgeous fashionistas out there! Since this is the first post from what we hope to be a successful series of Wednesday ScarfDay blog posts, we’ll present you with the latest addition to our scarves collections, the fishnet scarf!

We are so excited about the new fishnet fringed scarves because they are the perfect accessory to dress up any outfit, from an office look (if you opt for a neutral color such as gray) to a special night on the town. The lightweight fabric is perfect for all year round: light enough for spring and summer and perfect for when you need a little extra warmth.

La Purse 12 Scarves of Christmas Contest

We are very happy to announce our “12 Scarves of Christmas” Contest, our Christmas gift to you wonderful fans of La Purse!

12 Gifts of Christmas Contest Rules:

1. Contest runs from December 14 – December 20 2010. Contest is open to US residents only. The prizes to the winners will be provided by La Purse.

2. To enter the contest you must be a fan of La Purse on Facebook.

3. Contest details:

- The contest will take place exclusively on http://www.facebook.com/lapurse

- For 6 days (December 14 – December 20 2010), each day, at a previously announced time, we will ask a question on the La Purse Facebook Fan page.  The question will refer to La Purse scarves, pashminas and shawls, celebrities who wear scarves, La Purse product categories and La Purse blog posts.

- The daily contest will have two rounds, each round consisting in one question. The time allocated for contestants to answer the question: 1 hour.

- The answers to the questions can only be found by browsing lapurse.com

- The first person to give the correct answer wins a scarf of his/her own choice from the category of scarves presented on that specific contest day.

- You cannot enter the contest twice. This means that if a person has already won a La Purse scarf, but answers first and correct to another question, the prize will go to the second person who answered correctly.

The prizes will consist in La Purse scarves. For 6 days, December 14 – December 20 2010, each day we’ll present a new scarves category, from which we’ll give away 2 scarves:

5 Tips for the Perfect Casual Date-Night Look for Autumn

Picking out the perfect outfit for a date can be sometimes tricky, especially if you’re going on a more casual date like a stroll to the park, a walk around the city or a movie-date. If your date just suggested you go for a long walk, don’t panic; check out our 5 tips for the perfect casual date night look:

1.      We know that wearing heels makes women feel sexier and confident but this time you might want to resist the urge to wear stilettos. Instead, opt for a stylish pair of flat boots. Still, if you are short or simply don’t feel comfortable in anything but heels, choose wearing a pair of chunky heels or wedges.

2.      Remember: this is a casual date.
